It's done! Here's a shot from the back

Annnnnd another shot from the front.

Looks good eh? Ok, here's a shot of the whole buggy

One last closeup shot of the mount with it ready to go

I'm running with 11/46 gearing (and that's a 10L motor for those of you not taking notes :) ). With 3S going up and down the street, I'm guessing I might be hitting 100 degrees. It's just barely warm to the touch, the motor and ESC. It's pretty peppy, spins all four panthers on concrete with no problem. 12 cells (or 4S) is really going to make it come alive. I think I've got some room on the gearing too. Now just to mount everything so it stays where it's supposed to!

Oh, and I agree with MM; put some screws on the bottom piece...

Nice mount BTW!

It just looks that way. There are some plastic "thingies" :005: that go under the holder that keep the brake discs separated. That's just the ridge where they seat. It's all they way down. :)

Yup, there are, you just can't see 'em.

Thank you SIR! I've seen so much good work on this site, I knew I had to do good to keep up, haha!

Oh, and I gave it a shot on 12 cells today:

Very much a quick rig-up proof of concept job. It works, and works darn good. Limited space (and sight distance at night) so I wasn't able to run it much. The Mamba Max and the motor were just warm, no heat problems at all. The motor was slightly hotter, so I can probably go up a few teeth. It's a hoot to drive, crazy acceleration. I need to get my road rage tires mounted up before I destroy these panthers!
