Probably rotate in the hole while trying.Assuming there's room careful work with a Dremel tool and an abrasive cut off wheel would make short work of cutting out the compression damaged part and the ends would just fall out after that.Just try not to inhale too much carbon dust...I don't think it can hurt you but they didn't used to think asbestos was a problem either :002:
