I hope for your sake that it's not that. It was a real PITA to replace the wire - and I don't exactly consider myself a soldering novice. The glue stuff had to be carefully scraped off and the tiny solder point for the antenna doesn't allow anything larger than 22 or 24 Ga wire (at a guess). And then you have to be careful not to heat the solder point too much because of the SM components nearby (about 2mm away).
