The unit’s built-in BEC (battery eliminator circuitry) has to be disabled when using more than 10 NiMH cells or more than four cells if using Li-Po." Depending on the bec could it be able to run 6s?

Nope. It pretty much won't run 6S no matter what. Some don't have a problem running it, but alot of others do...
