First off, welcome to the forums.

Second...you really shouldn't even attempt to run a 7700kv motor in an E-Maxx. The 7700kv motor is meant for smaller, lighter vehicles like touring cars. I would do some research on what others are using in the brushless part of the forum before even thinking about buying Lipo batteries. Trying to run the 7700kv motor in your Maxx will likely cause huge amounts of cogging and possibly a smoked ESC.

Well the 7700 was what was recommended for the truck as it is 1/10 scale and it's what I bought so I have no choice but to work within my boundaries.

So back to the question about using a MM 7700 with LIPOLY on an EMAXX so if you have any advice in that specific category it would be appreciated.
