Unfortunately, you will not be able to run the 5700 motor with the e-maxx. It is just too small and weak of a motor for such a heavy truck. What you could do though, is sell the 5700 motor and keep the Mamba Max ESC, and run an XL motor from the rc-monster store. This will give you decent speeds and the temperatures shoudl stay down as well, depending on the gearing. With this set up, if you are on a tight bugdet, you can run dual 7 cell packs on each side of the chassis.

Why not just buy the ESC only? :032: Anywho, a MM ESC and a Feigao XL motor will only cost about the price of a complete MM setup. The only other things you will need are connnectors, pinions, and a UBEC. Thats given you have battteries.
