The shim set that I use is from Team Losi.
#LOSA6356 Metric Shim Set, 5 & 6mm. I payed $4.00 for a pack of them and there is about 6 of each in each pack. I trashed two rear diffs in a month and my dealer sujested that I shim the diffs. I already have the R&R ring and pinion gears,Integy alum. diff. cases and housings but its my spider gears that were stripping. Now there is no slop and a very close mesh and I also switched to 10K oil in the rear and 30K in the front instead of 30K in both front & rear. TONES OF HOOKUP on all surfaces. |
