Dafni:

Hi,

First off I gotta say all of your trucks are beautiful. the machine work that goes in to them is something. your now basher E-Revo is something I could only dream of building now. and your G2R with the motor mount, slipperential is awesome.
now.... I think it's great your getting your son into racing/bashing when he's 5. great age to start him out.
I did the same with my son (well I stated him out earlier with a JRX-2 and a 5 cell pack running around our driveway) then to a small dirt track and so on. it was great until he turned 16 and found out he was good enough at video games the people would send him to tourny's to play.
thus ended our time in R/C. he will stop by a track where I'm at take my truck or buggy and set TQ by over a lap from before and leave. but he's not interested in racing any more. :frown:
so enjoy it while you can........and keep your son away from video games!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

Thank you Tim for the wise words. I will keep that in mind.
And thank you for the comments on my RCs.
Lately the kids like crawlers, as do I. My son likes the fixing and building aspect of the hobby, just as much as the driving. And I myself got into airbrushing... I can see me quitting the building and machining for a while, and focusing on painting.
So interests shift constantly. Nice to hear your son turned into a very good driver... not so nice to hear about the video games, but I think you can not controll the interests of your kids ... especially after a certain age. If it's video games, and he goes pro, so be it. I myself dislike video games now, altough I have been a fan of them in my teen years myself.

Let's see what comes next.

I was trying to get a stretch of land to build a track (of found a club) last summer... we had no luck, due to the noise of the nitros we got turned down by every community council here... I will try to achive this goal one more time this summer, but if I fail again, I see no future for my RC racing here anyway. I hope for the best, but for my RC without a track is not worth the effort. Let's hope for the best.

Thank you
Daf
