the finned has larger diameter thanks to fins that are about 2mm.

if using maxx transmission you can fit mod1 18T pinion with ease, 16 with bit fin dremmeling and 14T with very hard dremmeling. i did just the light one to fit 16T (all with use of strobe slipper with 51T ofna spur)

Fined cans are larger dia. because of the finns obviously.
