I am pretty sure i can get your 1:1 diff perfect as well. (with the right tools ofcourse)

Here is something i've been thinking about for a longer time..;

Some day i will build my own truck, wild plans, but i hope it will happen some day.. my plan is to use adjustable cups that hold the bearings (with a setscrew to tighten them) that way you don't need shimms and the diff can be shimmed without taking it apart.
