i think it's good for MGT conversion. in this link you can see a configuration used in a mgt convertior. he use center diff from losi with 2250 kv motor from tekin.

http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/sho...=65876&page=14

you can see the photos on the pages before. he use other motor mount and put thinks in the chssis with a diferent configuration.

i order the 1/8 diff sell on rc-monster and i hope that feet in the frenchmans mount because i bought one too.

if i receive it next week i tell you if i'm hapyy or not : )

Will our 2 MGT heroes ever return...The Frenchman and the Steel wizard? Or have they been kidnapped by an Erevo gang and locked away never to talk brushless MGT again....

May have been injured in a tmaxx plastic shrapnel explosion.......

Hope all is well guys...

Scott

Steel Wizard? I like that, just as long as Linc or Harold don't see that and twist it in some strange way....

Us MGT guys don't take crap from E-Revo gangs though, lol.

All is well here, just been busy. Have yet to order my solid bullet chunk of aluminum from McMaster for my motor mount. I will be making 2 of them most likely as I am getting a 3"x3"x6" block of 6061-T6, which is enough for 2. If the offer was high enough I'd consider selling one, but I like the idea of having the only 2 in existence.

hi ppl,

here is some news from my conversion.
allready have the motor mount, center diff and motor.
i'm using a motor mount from dude friend (many thanks to both of them) and the Slipperential 1/8 Center Slipper Diff from rc-monster.

the center diff looks very nice and fit perfectly in the motor mount. here are some pictures

this pieces fits perfect in the chassis but because i choose a 50 mt spur gear i need to cut a litle the chassis where the spur gear pass. here some photos of the marks in the chassis a will cut.

tomorow i will cut the chassis and put more photos.

i just figured you have a 1/10 motor in your 1/8 car? that motor must heat up a fair bit?

Way to hijack the thread with something that is not even close to an MGT....

here is the result of my first day working in the MGT conversion

chassis cuted fot the 50t sput feet work well

the test's to study everything gone stay

once the motor is two big and only have 2 screws holding him to the motor mount i dicided to do a piece to support the rear part of the motor. it will be fixed to the chassis

and because my chassis in thinner than the original i will use only one lipo so i will try to put everything in the middle escept the mamba esc. i will make a base in aluminium for base and to support that base near to the motor mount a will make this piece.

maybe at the end the mgt work's fine

That is not a 1/8 motor. That is a speedpassion 1/10 turd with a 1/8 badge- same size & style as a hvmaxx motor ( 380xl in a 550 can ). Any true 1/8 motor would not have a kv much in excess of ~2500kv...

Start your own thread if you want to post pictures and discuss your setup.
