Raydee, you may want to see if you have a neutral band adjustment on your radio. I could see if it was set too high causing the issue you are describing :-)
If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...
Well, I'm loving my Mamba XL, and being the impatient goof that I am, I am buying a Phoenix Ice HV 120 for my 10SC. I will run it on 8S with mechanical brakes and a 1515/2Y (1100kv).
It sure would be sweet if the Mamba XL software would work on this smaller version so I could ditch the mech brakes...

NO BRIAN I MEAN MECH BRAKES! haha no only joking... yea how did i do that?
Well im bloody exctited to just get my savage back up and running so i can get the ice hv 160 working!!! 9s on a 1520 is going to be stupid! If i blow one motor, i have another haha... thanks castle ;)
Well, if the Mamba XL is a ICE 200 12S capable controller with software that supports 8S and motor brakes, shouldn't an ICE 120 12S capable controller be able to use the same software for 8S with motor brakes?

Yes, extremely so. :) Be curious to see how long it lasts since its rated for 60k, and thats slightly over... not to mention the 125amp rating; but we all know that CC has been underrating stuff to help avoid issues by "normal" users!
I'm curious because I eventually intend to run 8S on an Mamba XL and the 1520 with my 5T conversion, instead of just 6S.

Well i think 9s should be absolutely fine... and it is only JUST over the rated rpm... considering my mate and many many others run the 2650kv castle motor on 6s which is over the rated rpm limit by 5000-6000rpm
So i think i will actually be absolutely fine!
I heard people running the 1520 on 10s even!!!
And remember thats only over rated at 4.2V not 3.7! so i will rarely be over the limit anyway!
