OK somes news on the MGM brake.

The brake on this controller is a piece of scrape

I'am not able to have a linear braking. Some times, when i touch the brake just a little bit, the controller lock the wheel immediatly and the back of my truck raise in the air and fall on it's lid, and other time, when i touch the brake, the controller start to give full trottle

The rest of the controller run very good, it's smooth, it run cool, but the brake is a dump

I've try to upgrade to the 3.23 software, but the controller seam to not want to load it, i've try twice to download it, and both time, the download process was succesfull, but when i connect the controller to change somes parameters, the version is still the 3.21. I've try to run an autotuning, but don't change anything.

As soon as the MMM v2 will be in stock, i'll buy it for sure.

I can't understand why a $300.00 ++ controller can't have a progresive brake in it. And i can't understand why it give trottle when i touching brake. I've try to reinitialise the end point on it (full trottle, wait for 3 bips, full brake wait for 1 bip and neutral wait for 2 bips), but nothing to do.

I don't know if you can immagine, but when i run at WOT, and i try to give a little brake, and the controller decided to lock the rotor..... ouch!!!!1 the drive train
And on other side, when i'am near an obstacle and i want to brake and the controller give full trottle, same thing, ouch!! the front a-arm

I thought someone in another thread had the same upgrading problem and figured it out (not sure though).

With the old software (3.04) on my 16024 I had probably seen every problem that others have experienced. I managed to get things working with trying different set ups and returning controller to factory defaults and reprogramming to radio as if new controller. Even when it did work "right" the brakes were not consistent and reverse was unusable. Now with the version 3.23 on it everything works as it should; reverse works great and brakes feel much more consistent.

Nothing to do, just try 5 time to download the 3.23, all the download process go very well, the download window say "device updated successfully".

I disconect the USBCOM+ from the computer, replace the CC_03 cable by the CC_02 and restart the controler v1.27 to gona see the parameter in my controller, and the version still the older 3.21

FU..

No
I've only disconect the USBCOM++ from the computer, put the switch on the controler to "off", reconnect the USBCOM++ and put the switch back to "on"

the mgm esc is on as soon as you plug it in. The switch only stops it from moving

Yes i know, i've unplug the red wire, but when i go on the controller program V 1-2-10 to program the controler, the SW version still on 3.20

I follow exactly this procedure

David, you are in the same situation as me. I tried upgrading the controller and every is successful but the software still reports it as 3.20!
