Thanks for posting! Some questions:

What size pinion, and did 32 pitch work okay?

Is there any adjustment for gear mesh, or is it fixed?

16 tooth, 32 is perfect, and mine is fixed, you could prolly mod it to be adjustable.

sweet! Does the 12t 550 feel "adequate". The wal-mart electronics leave alot to be desired.

Definably powerful enough for the sled, the suspension kept braking in one spot which kept screwing the cogs up. All you need to do is mod it so more of the cogs are contacting the track.

Ah, i left the gear cover on, it helps keep the gears inline.
