All I have to say is linc is the man. I damn there bought my whole r/c setup off of him. He ships fast and communicates well. T-Bro and linc you guys need to talk it out to find out the most efficient way to work out the situation.

I will also vouch for good dealings w/the pimp. Unfortunately sometimes trades will have their issues....as this one is having now. Hopefully this will all work out for both parties.

i have never dealt with travis, but i can tell you this for sure, linc's word is bond. i made a couple transactions with linc and have been 100% satisified every time. there was this one time where he even paid for shipping back to me ...only because i sent him something to fix for me, and he took a little bit longer than expected.
so i know linc has no problems paying for shipping if he feels he's at fault. in this case with the lipos, i truely believe he sent out some legit lipos.

but if travis charger cannot read the lipo as 6s, then i would see it as the chargers fault. so even if linc does send back the lipos no matter who pays for shipping, we're only back to square one.
only thing i can think of, is maybe linc has another 6s lipos he can ship out, and it does not have to be new, he can send that one out instead. so its up to travis which lipos he rather have.

I never bought anything from Linc because I don't trust him. I sold him some stuff and asked if he got it and he told me to blow myself. After that he said he wanted my wife as collateral and I haven't seen her in 6 months since then. .. Can you check your monkey cage for a curley Italian girl ?

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

The 109 charger is the only one I use and yes it is out dated, so much so that it still the original version and when I got it, it came in a white or brown box from the factory. Yes, I got one of the first units made lol. I think T-Bro should've started a thread asking questions about the 109 charger and we 109 users would've told him how the charger works.

Any luck with the blowing yourself? I hear yoga helps. And as I remember you freely gave your wife up as the collateral and said that you were more than happy to be single for the 6 months... I can't please anyone, can I...

Man, you are as bad as the next guy, now you want an upgrade? They stopped making the non-lippy models a few years back, in the 50s if I remember correctly.

Alright guys, good advise here, and I thank you all for your input. I will wait for T-Bro to get back with me, and offer to send him his pack back, postage paid. I will not be paying insurance though, so if he wants that he can cough up for it. I guess tracking will be a good idea though. Still miffed a bit that I am getting the blame for user error with a battery charger, and will be out close to 30 bucks for shipping this pack 3 times. If he still wants a new pack, this one can sit here till he changes his tune. I have no problem with that!

I will also mention that he did "threaten" me with other actions if I did not send him a new pack. Nothing specific, but he did say he (quote from email) "No more kiddy arguing about this because I don't have the time. Like I said before, I know you don't want to let go of my motor and start back over... That's on you... I gave you a fair chance to resolve this disagreement and you made a complete u turn.
If you are not going to return my motor and money, let me know, and i'll take things from there."

So you guys can see what I am dealing with here. I will be happy to post the entire email correspondence but i am sure Mike does not want me cluttering up the forum with this BS!!!

They still make them, but they are only availble overseas anymore. Sometimes questionable quality, OTOH they are cheap. Import duties can be expensive, forget about returns, but if you do your homework you can walk away with a nice deal.

My buddy's dad went with a Romanian model. Nothing but problems with that. He even ended up in jail. Plus he is way in the hole for all of the various tax-title-license fees. So do your homework and make sure you know about the hidden fees. I buy american myself.

Ok, figured I would update this with the outcome.

So about 2 days ago t-bro hit me up via email and asked what it would take for me to ship the pack back. I told him that if he agreed with me that there was nothing wrong with the pack I would mail it back to him, and eat the shipping costs. He agreed and I will mail the pack out today.

He also mentioned that he plans to upgrade his charger setup....

At least it ended well. Eventually.

He should also look into a new ESC if he's still using the Schulze.
