He's 17, still in highschool, and has a very bright future. But seriously, how racist are you? Geesh.

A little early in his life to prejudge don't you think? Lots of folk make a living doing things that could be considered menial. Jugglers, magicians, singers, dancers, actors, artist......you know the stuff that gay people do. JK.

^^ I know what you mean, I only watched a couple of vids, all with the pens. But at the same time it's his signature thing so it's kinda expected at this stage. Who knows what he's capable of with some time, experience, opportunity and guidance.

I wouldn't mind being a 1-trick pony rapper, where all I could do was rap, because they make multi-millions of dollars! So...yea, I'd be a 1-trick rapper!

Interesting but nothing I haven't seen before. I went to a school were I was the minority being white and saw kids doing this all day long.
No matter if he makes it in rap or not it's still wise to get an education. How many rappers stories (and musician's at that) have you heard were they lose all their money because they don't no how to manage it? Case in point is Mike Jones who used to live a few floors above my parents in their condo. Nice guy, but couldn't manage his money and is starting to have serious financial trouble.

He's 17 and still in school, so he IS getting his education...and who's to say that he won't go to college, you just never know. I think you are being a little too judgmental on him for two reasons; his race, and his choice in music style. Maybe you don't like his race, maybe you don't like rap, maybe you don't like either...I don't know, but you are stereo-typing him without even knowing a thing about him.
I posted this because the kid has got major talent and skills, and I wanted others to check him out...that's it. Why did you have to turn it into a racist/education thing?
And I hate to break it to you, but rap is the #1 genre of music right now, as well as the highest paying genre of music. If this kid decides to pursue a career in music, that's his choice, his decision, his right...not yours.
And if you look at all the rappers, there have been very few who have made bad financial decisions, the rest are multi-millionaires, with interests in everything you can think of...performing, producing, writing, clothing, jewelry, shoes, miscellaneous apparel, restaurants, sports teams, racing teams, and much more.
Now, unless you have something to say strictly about his talent, positive or negative, please don't reply.

First this is a public forum so don't tell me when and where to post. You don't have that authority so get over it.
Second you need to recheck the charts and album sales become country music is the #1 seller across the board.
Third you make a lot of assumptions about me and why I view something a certain way with nothing to back it up. Your whole thing of trying to pigeon hole someone as racist is lame and with no backing. I have plenty of black friends that don't like or listen to rap.
Last I don't listen to one genre/style of music. I have everything from blues to classical, jazz to metal, rap to country, and anywhere in between in my collection.
Edit: Here is a list of the top selling albums of all times, not much rap to speak of.

Albums and Genres are two completely different things...and then there is total monies earned, and like I said, the highest earning genre is rap...PERIOD!
Country and Rap have been switching places for the #1 genre for a few years now, so if Country is on top right now, that's my fault for not looking it up before I posted...I was simply going by what was on top as of about a year ago (last time I checked).
Look, reading your posts lead me to believe that you were racist to a point, maybe not completely where you hate a certain race, but I think you have issues with a certain race. I also believe you have a problem with rap itself...sure, you may listen to rap, and that's cool, but I think you do have some sort of issue or problem with it in some sort of way. Hell, maybe you're a teacher and you believe in nothing but education first no matter what, I don't know, I was just going by what I read (what you posted) and came to my own conclusions.
I am sorry if I am wrong, or way off base, but you have to admit that you do have a problem with this kid and/or what he does, or you wouldn't have posted such lengthy & negative replies about him/the video.
You don't like him, what he does, his type of music, or something else, whatever...that's fine, but I posted this video for the reasons I stated on the previous page, not for someone to tear into the guy for what he is doing and all sorts of other issues that you brought up...like education, which has nothing to do with anything, yet you keep ranting about it...let it go, let him live his life and do what he wants to do, you can't control it and shouldn't even be trying, or preaching to others (us) about how they (we) shouldn't be like him or do what he does.
Look, I'm sorry...I am the most anti-racist person on the planet, and what you said hit a nerve because it sounded just like what many racists would say. And then the whole "rap is a waste of time, you should pursue an education instead" thing also hit a nerve, because everyone is allowed to do what they want, and no one likes to be preached to (unless they are in church). You remind me of the mom in "Sister Act II."
Anyway, I apologize, and I hope we can just drop this and move on, so that everyone else can enjoy the amazing talents of this kid.

Seriously, I never said I didn't like him, what he does, or anything of the sort. Reread my post, I said it wasn't anything special that I had not seen before. Either way not liking a genre of music has nothing to do with racism. Do you like Indian music? What about Tejano? What about Salsa? What about Arabic music? According to your logic if not then you must be racist against these people. Sorry but this incessant race sensitivity crap is ridiculous.
You need to get off the race thing because in no way does it apply. The point was that getting an education is good for everybody, athlete, rock star, rap star, soccer mom, whatever. Too many people who have no education and/or clue about life are making a lot of money and can't manage it and make very poor decisions.
So learn not to put words in people mouths and don't quote me on something I never said.
