E-Raze

Had to replace servo and rx due to a little water skipping journey that goes unfinished until another day. So the wiring is not all done. I am going to place the rx behind the motor or on the mudguard. The second pic is the stock dif. I haven't had any problems since going to the hardened spiral diff ring and pinion gears.

Sold by Duratrax. I picked mine up off Tower. I looked on their site it seems they aren't available any more. This is the link to part number.

Bunch of info here.

Since this thing is discontinued picking up spares for key parts could never hurt. I have a whole extra buggy for spares. I am eventually going to break down and buy the nice machined aluminum carriers, and servo mounts and stuff.

I am pretty sure that ofna diffs will fit and work fine. The Raze shares many parts with other bodies. You just have to do a little searching.

Ehh, I don't really know what the other 10% is I have only bought a few things so far. One was a body. Then some hinge pins and e clips.

Best buggy i have ever seen for PURE BASHING is the Hyper 7, with RCM Brushless conversion.

THIS THING WAS TOUGH!!! out jumped everything, never once broke! and the only mod it was running was alloy front hubs! AMAZNIG MACHINE FOR STOCK!

since buggies are soo light and have small wheels and tires, the diffs never really go out in them. Ive had a few buggies and one truggy and never had a problem with diffs.

Built Ford tough, with Chevy stuff.

Nothing major. Maybe some hinge pins, and e-clips. I hate those stupid e-clips. If I find a set of captured hinge pins I will definitely get them. Make sure to shim your diffs. If you get the spiral cut they require a bit of a break in. So take it easy on them when you first put them in.

I replaced the plastic chassis braces with metal. Revo turnbuckles/pushrods make for excellent chassis support.

Besides that I haven't broke anything on it in some time now but I would say maybe get an extra set of the rear carriers if not get the aluminum ones. It is a pretty freaking tough buggy, so I don't think you will need much. Keep an eye out on Craigslist and RCTech though, usually you can pick up a whole extra buggy for reasonably cheap since they aren't made anymore and they were pretty popular, at least in my area.

I'll have to get you some updated pictures. Should have some for you tonight after work.
