My buggy will run 30-35 min on the battery shown in this vid, and it can be geared to run as fast as you can make your nitro go... I promise. ;)

No doubt a nitro can be very fast... it's not easy for an electric to match the top end of nitros... but don't forget electrics will always have the bottom end that nitros can only dream about. hee hee

Too bad we can't always put it to the ground... offroad often can't take as much bottom end as a BL buggy has. For example, in my video clip, I have to ease on the throttle to keep it pointed the right way. I made the mistake on the first lap, grabbed a little too much heading into the first crossover jump and got sideways... that's why I missed the landing and wrecked.

I won't bash nitros though... I actually like them too. But they get to be too much after a long day of hearing 10-15 at a time.... WAAAHHHH!!!!!! WWAAAAAHHH!!!!!

:D

I wouls love to fly that gap with my MT's. Like glass doctor i love both, I have a 3.3, a G2R, a 2.5 converted to 3.3 and a Gmaxx. All run about the same speed (within 5mph) and love to fly

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Well ;) if you mean my 8ight.... no you can't keep up with any 1/18 vehicle on a track. Speed isn't the only thing... size matters too. :) While the 18T is getting kicked all over by bumps and ruts, my 8ight will be ripping straight through it.

And just in case it matters.... the video doesn't show the true speed potential of this buggy. It was geared for a lower top end and I was trying to drive it very "vanilla" smooth... it wasn't hooked up very well and it was the first time on that track for me. I ran it a little harder and geared higher recently and it was a different animal.

On a parking lot or carpet... ( and maybe a super smooth clay track) yeah a BL 1/18 could do some damage.
