Hey guys, its been awhile!!

@kcaz: the halfcase just went straight together with the tranny sorry about not selling it separately, i know alot of people are looking for a strobe setup in good condition, but i doubt i could have sold the tranny without a slipper.

So ive hooked the MGM back up, just for some fun, and took it out for a quick run the other day, not long enough for any video though . After a few passes the ESC was upto around 145 F, and thats when i stopped running. Both hthe motor and the batts stayed cool. I thought that the higher rated MGM would have run cooler than the MMM? Its geared for about 58mph at the moment, would gearing it more towards 45mph theoretically bring the temps down?

heres a quick pic, looks alot slicker with the mgm i think.

Oh yeah I don't blame you! I think I'm going to buy Serum's if he ever logs back on LOL!

Yeah you never really did get the power just right. I know you will though! As has been said this is possibly the greatest Maxx ever. Candyman's is nice as well as any UE truck with that Emaxxler chassis.

there is only one e-maxxler chassis and plettenbergs owns it. jordans truck is a gorillamaxx. Neither serum or anybody besides plettenbergs owns an e-maxxler. Candyman's was also a gorillamaxx. I think you done got your maxxes confused!

That truck is so awesome! Probably one of my favorite builds so far. Hey jordan what are you using for a body these days?

For 5s lipo (it was 5s still?), gearing for about 40-45mph is plenty.

I would have thought the whole setup could manage alot more than that without getting hot, but... escs are funny things.

Hey Jordan nice to see you back in here playing around again. It has been a while.. Of course lowering your speed just a tad should bring the ESC temp down. Your builds are always good examples for the rest of us to use in our own projects. Anything new on the horizon?

Hey Jordan,

Which MGM do you have? Mine seems to run a little cooler than my MMM.

Hot motor + cool esc = under geared.
Cool motor + hot esc = over geared

IIRC jordan has the 28025. Maybe the fan on the MMM keeps it cooler than the MGM?

he hasn't built them yet. I'm on top of the list to receive one. Candyman's started as a gorillamaxx and is now all custom. Trust me, I know the maxxes

I'm not talking about Plettenbergs poster. I'm talking about E-maxxler (creator) said on the UE forum that he made a few for friends.

i see. plettenbergs is recreating it, making a dozen I think? I've googled and googled, the creator may have made a few, as far as i know plettenbergs is the only one that still exists. they're like dinosaurs.
