I can speak from first hand experience that CC has excellent customer service that typically extends past what they would legally be responsible to provide. For example, replacing a part part even though the warranty has expired. They deserve the opportunity to receive back the merchandise they sent you by mistake.

On the other hand, if you do reach out to them and they tell you to not worry about it, then no harm done.

You're getting bent out of shape over nothing. CC charged him for the motors. What's the big deal?

Looking back, you are right. Not sure how, but I thought they didn't charge him for the extra motors.

I don't think someone would come into a CC forum to brag about CC accidentally mailing them free stuff.

I don't know what I edited (prob. some typo's), but I'm pretty sure I stated that they did charge me the motors before the edit. Like said before, there's indeed no point in saying here that I got free motors (duhh).

Though a member on a Dutch forum did get three motors twice. He asked CC what to do with them and they said he could keep them (not sure if that's true, but that's what he posted).

I must have read it wrong too them. Oh well. I hope you are enjoying the motors, like me. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the 1717's I ordered.

Same here ;) But I have good news.

FLM is coming out with a new set of TVP's in about two weeks. This set will handle a 1717 + 6S LiPo between the TVP's :)

My own Savage to Baja conversion with 560mm wheelbase
Place for batteries up to 157x74x55mm and 1717 motor sizes.
I'm using 7075 Aluminium for TVP's and motor-servo-battery plates.
