I would say that this is an excellent forum as is. I feel that there could be a few minor things to help it though. First I don't know if this exists or not but an easy way to find the moderators such as under members have a sub category for moderators and admin. Awhile back there was some spam crap on here and I had a hard time remembering the names of and moderators to remove the crap from our beloved forum. I don't remember who I came up with but I think it was BrianG or Serum, but the problem was quickly solved once I came up with a name. Now for the whole FS issue. I'm guilty of posting for sale on here and I've bought from here and glad that I was able to buy my crt.5 and mmm here. I beleive that if it is going to be allowed at all that there should be a for sale section with sub sections for vehicles, batteries/chargers, motors/esc, other electronics OR it shouldn't be allowed at all. I felt bad cluttering the forum with a fs thread but felt that the people that have helped me the most should have first dibs at something I'm not going to use anymore.
No additional moderators and no new ones unless someone wants to give up their position.

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I think we have good thing going and wouldn’t have it any other way, I believe we all do a good job in assistance moderators on our threads and others. Brian G and the rest of the GANG really give us the opportunity to speak our minds, have fun and for the most part leave us alone to use Mikes site as we see fit.

Over the last 15 years I have bounced around many different forums and chat rooms. In that amount of time this is only the second that I've come across that balances interesting and intelligent members, a wealth of accessible knowledge, and completely irrelevant humor. Most any topic under the sun can and has been discussed here and there are so few negative and abusive posts compared to most other forums it's rare when a mod is even required.
It's always been my opinion that the best moderators or admins are the ones that you seldom realize are there at all. This is just an indication that they are doing their jobs so good that your not even aware of it.
This is just my opinion though so...

I voted no because as I said in another post, for the most part this forum self moderates pretty well. I think BrianG does a fine job and also very nicely has answered my questions I had. The other problem is forums can easily be over-moderated as well......(ahem, TRAXXAS, cough)
The other thing is that I don't think it's up to us to elect new mods, it is at Mikes prerogative and should be left that way.

The thing with the Traxxas forum is that there are sooo many more younger (read: sub-teenage) members there. So I wouldn't blame them for what could be considered "over-moderation".

Hey guys. Its been a while, I know. Just been busy with school and so on. New car has been keeping me pretty busy and I've had to put RC on the back burner so to speak. I'm gonna make more of an effort to get on here more often for sure.

I dont see any problems with the way things are right now. Yes, there has been a little inconsistency with some members threads, but now that the issue was raised, I'm sure the existing mods will make sure they deal with them on a more consistent basis.
I also must say, I've been on here for about 3+ years, and it is by far the most level headed forum I've seen on any subject (except when someone posts about wanting to run brushes...)
