VERY good to hear! Are they going to be regular cooling plates or some kind of water block like you find in a water cooled computer? As long as you can keep the resistace low enough the water block would offer superior cooling capacity. At any rate, I've got 3 boats right now...and only 1 good ESC
All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

We took the heat sink fins off the cooling extrusion, and replaced them with channels for cooling tubes. The cooling extrusion bonds to the bus bars and the FET packages -- it is very effective at cooling the circuit board.

I have seen some presentations done on all the things that are in place which allow the earth to sustain life, it's pretty crazy. Even the other galaxies around us affect this.

Why not order from Mike (rc-monster.com) and you will most definitely get it faster and probably much cheaper than the lhs. This is Mike's site after all paid for with his hard earned money so my first suggestion is always to support him.

Well, back in February Patrick said this:
"Hmm, funny, we just approved the cooling extrusion on Thursday for the Hydra ICE. Coming real soon. Probably less than four weeks away. "
So, what happened? Is the Hydra Ice still on the way?

Yes, it's still coming -- as is the Mamba versions of the ICE controller. Right now they are a low priority in production 'cause we can't keep on the mainline stuff. Sorry, I'll try to keep everyone up to date.

Will the new ESC's be out in time for summer fun? Or is this more of a fall/winter time frame?

any plans for an updated bec on the mmp? mine works fine in my sc but doesn't seem to like the hitec hv 7940 in my 8th scale. I would also prefer to be able to set the bec higher then 7v.
Maybe something like your external 6s unit built right into the mmp.
thanks

The Mamba ICE is a car ESC which will handle more voltage than the Mamba Monster ?
