I'm not to happy with the shipping out stuff and date's as well,I think what's got me Mad is that Patrick said in the first post on th Batch 2 thread on this site he sai this.Starts shipping early next week.I'm so glad....
But he never did say if that ment repair's or if that ment shipping order's and to Hobby Shop's.
I'm not going to get really worked up over this but I was not to happy when I called Christy and asked her if she new when but wold not give me a straight answer so who really knows olny castle I guess.
I do think if Patrick said they were shipping early next week, and that would have made it at the start or early this week they should have started shipping and if something has happened tell us if that will still be the case rather than building hopes then when people try to get an answer they say nothing.

I will agree that it seems as though there isn't the best communication at Castle, internally, but it has been posted many many times that the people with defective V1s would get priority, then would be preorders, and last would be people with working V1s that wanted to upgrade to the V2. I remember when the problems first started showing up with the MMMs it seemed everyone you talked to had a different story. If that's the complaint I guess it isn't unfounded but it seems to be a little late (about 4 months). The problems with the contoller seem to be resolved and I haven't heard of a single failure of the V2. I personally have 7 packs through mine without even a hiccup. Everyday a few people post that they have gotten an email stating that their's was shipped. So, I really don't understand why people are waiting until now to start complaining. Is it just me or does it seem like some just like drama?

wow, this just keeps getting dumber and dumber, and taken further out of context! Do you all work for CC?? Or perhaps I'm speaking a different languauge than everyone else here? I don't know. WOW.

I had a broken V1, so I should have 1st priority, right? OK, so with that out of the way, why would you go and post on a forum stating that your gonna start shipping controllers to people on a certain day, then when I call for something else, I'm told no way, we start NEXT week. Which is it? And what are they shipping now, one a day? Why is a timeline so difficult?? "Sometime next week" should be CC's company motto, they sure do use it enough.

And to the A hole making the high roller comment, had you read my post, you'd see that I said I was prepared to do so, but mgm is on vaca until 8/15, so I'm screwed either way. Unlike the rest of us here, I am NOT forever grateful to CC, nor do I feel that they are the gods of rc. I don't care about them on ANY level. I bought the MMM because everyone here said it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread, and the price was great too. My project originally had a budget of $400 for a controller, but I'm not a high roller, nor did I ever claim to be at any point.

This thread has now reached the lowest level possible were we have resorted to insults. It is now useless and should probably be deleted. This was not my intent.

MK351E - I would like to point out one thing - this is a HOBBY, hobbys have ups and downs to them. I have other hobbies that keep me busy too, maybe you should find something else to do in your spare time instead of getting worked up over a toy. One of my other hobbies is guns. Last fall I wanted a certain gun, no one locally had it or anything like it, I had pay for it up front and special order it and wait till it came. When it did come it was everything I hoped for and loved it! My V1 worked for about an hour before it failed and I loved every minute of it, so much that I havn't put anything else in my e-revo cause I don't want to be disappointed with it's performance, so I found other things to do. I built a crt.5 and put my MM in it instead of putting my bec back on it and putting that in the revo. Wait, there's an option for you, pick up a MM and a bec and run your rc on 4S. Life is to short to be get ur panties in a bunch over a hobby and a toy! Chill out, relax, and find something else to do with your time instead of bashing on a company that has been nothing but helpful to this hobby of ours.

Do you people not read. Patrick said all broken MMM have priority. So when he said they would start shipping if you were expecting a repair for your v1 you will get it. If you are waiting on a back order you will most likely get one as well. He said they have a stock specifically for replacement of the v1's and the rest is for distributors to sell. How hard is this to understand.

You DO have first priority and your ESC will be shipped before the preorders and v1 upgrades. The rest is what I was talking about when I said that there was an internal communication problem. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and vise versa. That I could see as a legitamate complaint but the fact is that Patrick said on 7-30 that they would ship next week and mine shipped on 8-1 that's 2 days later. That's actually sooner than he predicted. Maybe when you called the person you talked to was talking about the preorders shipping next week not replacements for defective ESCs.

thanx jerry, someone FINALLY gets my point! And I'm glad you got yours, but, uh, where's mine? Are they shipping one a day here? According to CC, only 70 or so were broke out of 500 or so initaially shipped. I never really did buy that, but whatever, there's only one I'm concerned with.

However, I DID tell christy mine was a defective v1, and she said the ONLY MMM's that had gone out were the 6 or 7 beta's. THAT'S why I'm pissed, THAT'S why I'm scratching my head, and THAT was the reason for this rant of a thread. THAT is how it all started.

I too was soooooooooooo happy when patrick said they were to start shipping early this week. That meant that as long as they sent mine out via ups ground by tuesday, I'd have mine in time for the weekend. When tuesday rolled by with no email, I called to see when mine might go out, because I was willing to pay extra to overnight the damn thing at this point just to have it for the weekend. that's when the receptionist told me the news, and transferred me to christy, and she told me the news again.

erevonut: you are right, and I know that. however, I can't help but get my panties in a bunch; i mean, seriously, look at this fruity little hobby. seriously. but it is fun, and I am getting sick of my BL micro t. but thanks for the kind words dude.

If it makes you feel any better I havent gotten a shipment notice from them on my replacement V1 yet either. Still waiting. Of course I am still up and running on the backup V1 MMM I bought so its makes the waiting easier.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Yes I do read and very well thank you. What I'm stating is when Patrick said he would start shipping out next week witch would be this wee what did he mean by that as far as what is being shipped out,and that being said when Patrick made that statment about them shipping early next week they had already to start shipping out some of the repaired one's.
And mk351e I agree that you should get first priority and the same with all the other people that are waiting for repair's.
I don't even know if I'm getting a Dam ESC because of a retard at Castle,I had one on back order and was getting it from them when I called in yesterday to find out what was going on as far as a timeline goes for shipping them out I was told by Christy Oh your not on the order list, when I asked why I don't know,I ordered one far enough a head I would be sure to get one now who knows and I was told because there's no way to prove I had ordered one they won't do anything other than tell me to hope there's a few spare and I get one of them or else I'll be waiting until Batch 3 is done and it's like I told Christy is'nt that great so your telling me I'll get it sometime in the middle of winter and won't be able to run seeing as he MMM is Allergic to snow. The partI hate the most is I wanted my credit card billed in advance but they won't do it and I don't mind the waiting it's being told there going out earl next week and no one from castle say's anything as far as wether there's been some unforseen problem or whatever.

not quite related, but I agree with the fact that CC doesn't know whats going on. Back a couple months ago I ordered some BECs and a sidewinder direct from them (i think it was march, whenever that 20% off sale was). They said it was in stock on the website, I got an email a week later saying it was out of stock and would take a month. I wrote back cancelling the order, and got a confirmation. 4 times since then I've had someone at castle email me saying my CC was declined and my order hasn't been processed, please provide new card details. All 4 times I've told them about (and forwarded a copy of) the cancellation confirmation. For some times it just isn't clicking with them that I cancelled the order and got it elsewhere!!

I've only ever had bad experience with preorders...

That said.. if it wasn't for castle I'd probably still be smokin the ganj to relieve boredom instead of wrenching, so props to em for that ;)

It is still my opinion that things has not gone as planned this week. I really dont think that Patric would write:

I'm so glad....
And then write this a few rows down:

And then ship just a few repaired ones this week..... He knows how many times we have been disapointed on all delays and i seriasly doubt that he would write something like that and then ship out what, maybe 20-40 pcs in one week....

It is my belief that something has´nt gone as planned over at CC this week.....

As far as the people lauding MGM, do you actually own one? I have both and while the MGM is a nice controller, it is nothing compared to the MMM. Especially considering there is not a single ESC on the market that comes close to the MMM in price and/or features. Not to mention that nowhere do you see MGM offering support on a forum like CC does. I can also guarantee that MGM would take at least as long to repair and return to you as this has.
Yes & no, tried one liked it ordered one & awaiting delivery pending vacation (which will still be quicker than the months this has dragged on), it's nice that you have both to compare your obviously one of the lucky ones. Others may not come close on price or features but at least people can have them in their hands, all the features in the world are of little use if you can't get it. You don't see other companies such as MGM on a forum such as this because they haven't gotten themselves in a position of needing to placate a large number of discontented customers. As far as repairs go those here that have needed it have had excellent service from MGM, possibly the benefit of being a lot closer.
I'll go with the MGM for now and as and when the MMM becomes available I'll try that in my next one.

Okay, so all you angry people, cancel your orders, buy something else and quit whining. Crap, my wife's uncle who is on a heart transplant list moans less about it than all of you do about a toy not going your way. BTW, it is true, my wife's uncle is really on a transplant list.

Then there are the ones who result to name calling and cussing which only irritates people more. None of us can help you, either cancel your order and do something else or quit whining and wait patiently.

Here are some email addy's:

thomas @ castlecreations.com Thomas Porfert-Product Specialist
patrick @ castlecreations.com Kind of obvious there
joeford @ castlecreations.com Joe Ford-Product Specialist

These are all ones I found on my own and used to find out the whole story whenever I was unsure.
