I kinda meant it like "Hey you figured it out so lets see some video of this truck driving around now." My humor doesn't carry well through type. That's very cool, though. I haven't figured out the animations in Inventor yet.

Somewhat of a teaser:

The project of mine from which the above picture was taken has used up a good portion of my free time, but now it's pretty much done and will be turned in tomorrow. As a result I have nothing physical to show updates of.

And the shock bodies are set to transparent in that image.

And here's more... I would have showed the ensuing images in a single video file to demonstrate its mobility, but the truck assembly within SolidWorks is apparently too complex for my laptop (shouldn't be the case though - it's custom made and has good specs). So pictures will have to suffice:

Front suspension:

Rear suspension:

Steering:

Rendered wheel showing model tree (to get an idea of what I did to make the wheel):

Yes

Today the truck went on its maiden voyage! First impressions: it's very quiet, except for the motor and tires, and the rear belt skipping. The front belt is tensioned by no less than 2 springs, and the rear belt has a fixed tensioner which needs to be tightened. Previously the belts were skipping A LOT but has been mostly fixed with two rods connecting the front/rear shock towers to greatly reduce chassis flex.

Pics should be up tomorrow, and vid will be posted sooner or later.
