I just ordered a set of Hot Bodies D8/D8T plastic horns. They look pretty beefy and the plastic won't be so picky about fitting on the Turnigy servo spline. I eventually may get a clamping-style alloy horn, but for now the plastic will do.

clamps FTW

i really hope thy didnt try to reinvent the wheel and come up with their own servo spline, that would be a huge down side to these new servos

The Dynamite horn I bought must be the issue then. The teeth do look a little bit poorly done, looks like I'll have to try another brand.

Ouch, that's a bit worrysome. We can only hope it was a fluke and is the exception instead of the rule. Sorry to hear about that Greg.

Were the endpoints set so the servo wasn't trying to turn past the mechanical limits of the steering system?

they were a little past but not much, just to make sure there was no loss of steering, i do it to all my servos, i sent an email to hc, we will see about a replacement
