Info on the MMM from the I-Hobby show

I wonder how many people will be dumping their MM's in favor of the MMM for the larger vehicles? Might be a buyers market for pre-owned MM's pretty soon!

I asked patrick on rcgroups about other motors. this was his response.

Right now the plan is to offer:

38mm length motor:
1Y (2200 RPM / V)
2.5D (1750 RPM / V)
1.5Y (1550 RPM / V)

We will also be producing longer motors in the future for even higher power applications.

38 mm long?

That must be like a 1509 neu? I know that the l can feigao motors are about 60mm long. Sounds like a very small motor, or a misprint!

I have the 1515/2.5d (1700kv) its the schizzle, I run mine on 5s and NO problems, its finned though.

if you look at everything it will offer:
10 amp programmable switching BEC built in
6s handling
170 const. amp
neu based motor

It seems too good to be true, but if they can do it It will take the RC world for a Loop-de loop

I did, but am waiting for a response to that one. I also would prefer the 2.5d or 1.5y since I am running 5s and plan to go to 6s.

Thanks gixxer. It's good to hear they are working on it at least. I may get the controller and a fieago and get the 2.5d motor when they release it later.
