yea isn't it funny I found myself smiling through most of it as well. It is kind of like what we already knew, but finally it is out there for everyone to see. Soon even the Maxamps fans will also abandon them, and in less than a year they will be much like an insect shot by RAID with their legs up in the air. I am sure most of the people had their doubts about Maxamps, but unless they can produce proof that this video is false they are doomed. Can any of you see this happening?

I don't see it happening, they have the magazines in their pockets with ads. All the mags say nothing but great things about maxamps (and pretty much everything else...). This does help get it out into the open though, and I'm really glad Jang did it.
So long as there are noobs that go out to buy a magazine to see what's new and hot, there will be noobs buying Maxcraps.

Who reads those rags anymore?

Even if you do, you'll end up looking for info online and will come across these kind of threads eventually.

Hands up from who's watched that video from Jang more than ten times already.

I just find it so enjoyable to watch. Just feels like there is finally some form of retribution for all the poor noobs that have been ripped off by those con artists.

I dont think anyone was surprised about the C rating being wrong, but to lie about the capacity of the pack too??? Thats just going wayyyyyyy to far.

This is what I'm amazed by as well - I mean, anyone can see how much they put back into their lipo on their charger. And customers of MA are happy when they can only put 5000mAh back into their 6500mAh pack? If they have any experience with other brands they should be very unhappy with the overrated capacity of the MA packs. And yet some of them still buy more.

Swimming in a pool filled with money of course! The thread on rctech is the same old story with ma. People who swear by them will post once raving and flaming the suspicious but never come back with proof. Just my car is the fastest ever type stuff. Jeez. I'm about ready to buy a two cell and disassemble it and test the cells individually to have a few to work with. I'm sure it's a 2s2p setup so I could get some volume to test. Will need an eagle tree and a couple deans bulb dischargers but might be worth the money just to make myself smile and do a real review of some comonly used packs. Dunno maybe we can all start a fund and pitch in like ten bucks and buy a pack for someone to test that has a good eagle tree setup and such?

Hmmm, I could try to parallel discharge one pack for a total of 80A continuous with my two FMA chargers. Or if I could get my broken one replaced, I could discharge at 120A continuous. I would need a pair of car batteries to dump the power into though.

I would dre say that just one of your PowerLab8's would stress that battery quite enough.

Hey guys, didn't Arct1k say that he got similar run times from those MA packs as he got from the Turnigy 4S 4500mAh 30C packs in his Bajas. Or was he talking about performance? I could have sworn he said the same run time as well.

Yes, it's "True" alright!

Maxamps thinks we can't tell the difference on "C" rating.

They've gotten by with that for soooooooo long, that they think we can't tell the difference on Capacity either!

Shame on you Maxamps for CROOKED Business!
