do you know of any specific models that will fit in a 48/144mm battery tray that have at least 120 amps of continuous discharge?

how much runtime do you guys reckon is possible with hard running in a muggy with 5000mah? i've heard people run up to 45 minutes but that was with 8000mah...

Are you talkin 6s? I get 20 - 25 min on 4300 6s; with the 5000 and a sane set up, 30 min. should be no prob.

Depends on the motor, gearing and terrain. If you use the old 4s 8000mah vs 6s 5000mah comparision (with suitable kv motors), the runtime should be roughly the same. Not an exact science though...

now, this probably sounds a little crazy, and I Probobly sound like the little boy in the candy shop that can't make up his mind, but I've found another setup, and I sent an e-mail to rc-monster mike asking him to cancel the battery tray i ordered last night, but i couldn't find a phone number, i would've rather called.

With this new setup, I have the steering servo in sideways, and the break servo in sideways next to the steering servo, and i haven't changed anything else. Now I have the whole left side of the muggy free for the battery, and i can mount it close to the front, and I originally could only fit a 158mm battery in it and now i can fit a 245mm battery in it (but, I'm not going to).

I'm getting a 6000mah 5S1P 25C/50C 18.5V Enerland pack when the MMM comes, and i had to change the brake servo mount because this battery is 168mm long

right now my camera's battery is dead and charging and I'll post pictures soon.

are you just using one brake? i thought the muggy had 2 disc brakes - one for the front and one for the back?

I got a new dremel, I was tired of charging the 4.8v one, plus this one has 35,000 rpm.

I also got the battery tray and installed it with a countersink bit.

Nice work- a proper countersink makes a much nicer finish. I should buy one, lol...
