Even letting people know they are out of line sometimes just gets them going. Best to ignore them like they never even posted.

The quick access button would be nice I guess. But like someone said, you can report a post as spam and the mods will get it (not sure what such a button looks like since I don't see the same page you guys do). Other than that, only Mike and maybe Serum can ban people. Mods can just delete/move posts/threads.

Your a admin...You should be able to ban people. Serum is a admin as well, so if he can do it, you should be able to as well.

Oh, and the report post button is at the top right corner of the post, right next to the little computer icon for the IP address of the person who posted.

How long has that been there?? I never noticed it before, and would not have known what it was for without you pointing it out. Thanks for the heads up. MOD SECRETS...

There was something that Mike had to do to make me a "true" admin. Basically, I'm just an admin by name, but cannot do 95% of what a real admin can.

OK, I see the button now. BTW: What does that "add infraction" button do next to it? I want to test it but don't want to really add infractions.

I wouldn't know. I don't have that button.

Really?? Or is that a number for the local police or a queer bar?

Well, I guess that's one thing an admin has that a mod doesn't. But I don't know what it actually does.

It does not have to be anything special looking. Just an Icon that everyone has access to in order to report issues. That would be much less of a problem then having everyone in the site adding the Mods to their friends list. Just an icon for trouble calls like most maintenance facilities use. Something that is posted on the main home page for easy quick access for everyone. Myabe have them go to a central file that Mods can all check when they are on line with RCM without loading up their personal PM space.

I've got the "Add Infraction" button, it's right next to the "Report Post" button. Just like Brian I wonder what it does . We should have tested it out on sandmouthmambaman or whatever his name was.

MAYBE it is an award once you post so many times in the threads. Uh oh now BG is going to go crazy hitting us with infractions. Look out James.
