Update: The MMM with the broken fan blades now has a broken fan connector. When I went to replace the fan with the broken blades the connector came right off the board. No matter what CC does to fix the dead MMM issue, there will alway be the mechanical issue on this SMT bottom mounted fan connector & poor fan wire routing & fan to grill clearance. (Until they get sick of fixing fans/connectors & move it.)

Not trying to jinx you and wish you further success but i think you have a freak v1 , heck even v2 are not working that well without mods .Whatever you do don't touch it , modify it or change any of your set up .

lol, don't plan on it. It's excellent. About 120F is the hottest it has got which was racing no stop for 40minutes.

Chapito is also on his first v1 and it's held up through many many runs. First in his Revo and now his LST2 (both with 4s and a 1515/1Y). It seems there are some V1 ESCs that contain perfectly fine BEC components.

mine seems to be working now with only a 3600mah 2s test pack running through it. i am very reluctant at this point to invest anymore in batteries and servos. the failure rate of this product is just starting to sink in given that at ANY point the esc can malfunction and take out my packs and servos as well as the esc with it. all this and the manufacturer is not liable for this extent of damage. to me now really defeats the purpose of buying the MMM in the first place and am now seriously considering the trip back to Novak. sad but true.

Many are adding some type of foam standoffs placed on the motor and power solder areas to keep the circuits from hitting the case. That and a little dremeling of the case to allow more clearance. The foam solution works well and requires no permanent modification - just 2-3mm of added foam provides the clearance needed.

CC really need to add some sort of pcb suspension, or something. When I pulled the bottom plate off the dead v2 I had to laugh, that little foam thingy stuck to it is next to worthless, all it will do is stop the fan connector scratching the case...

I added some shrink tube to the fan wires on my v1, they were starting to rub thru on the pcb. I also added shrink to the wires as they exit the case, they were looking like they could be damaged too. Pity the BECs die, seems like a decent controller. I do not mind adding the foam cushion and the case clearancing, but running without a bec is a bit much...
