Thank man. The truck will be a basher that might see some track time if I can find a gorup that will let me run with them. The local tracks are nitro based with no BL classes. And the nitro guys do not want to run against electrics.
I have another set of Wabash that I need to dye and mount a set of bowties or crime fighters too for dirt. The road rages are just for my condo and work parking lots.
I put the center diff in so it is not a wheelie machine. bashing or not i like to have all 4 on the ground unless jumped.
i just noticed a somewhat odd issue with my revo project. when you move the truck forward wheels dont turn. push it backwards and they do. is this a brake issue?
agreed, sounds like the owb. I have mine removed. the truck slides in both direction when pushed unless the surface is grippy. then it wil click click click and roll. I can't believe how hard it is to turn this motor over while powered off. compared to my mamba that spins freely it almost feels brushed with strong magnets.
The colors look awesome dude. And I want those rcm stickers ;). I didn't mean to scare you off 5S, I am just one of those lean to the side of caution guys in case, but if it's a griffin modded esc, I bet he tested 5S. My bud is running his on 3S and it goes good.
When I got my plettenberg I thought the motor was pooched it was so hard to turn.
Actually I'm glad you made me think twice. I would have been upset if I ordered 5s and it could not handle it. the only thing I need to get extra now is an external LVC. Artur said the MM will not function on 5s using built in lvc.
great build of the car, wanted to no what LVC and will you be able to run 5s with no modifications.
thanks for help
Thanks. When finished it will have an MMM when released. In the interim I'll be using a GriffinRu stage 1 modded MM with ubec and a car version li-saver from the rc-monster store.
yep. such is life. you play with fire you can get burned. I got burned. life would be no fun for me if I did not push limits, and I have always loved computer overclocking. an overclocked esc seemed fun to try.
