Look on the castle website. There is a really small outrunner. I am guessing there are going to be more coming out.

Those are Neu outrunners, made for extremely small and light aircraft (that motor probably weighs about as much as the rest of the plane/heli).

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

Yeah, we know. One of the issues is that the demand for the Monster motors exceeded our expectations. The other issue is that we have been tweaking the designs for particular helicopter applications (TRX 600, 450, 700, etc.)

They must have meant the first quarter of the new millenium. They have 241 years left to get them on the shelves!

Will these be out by the end of the year?

How does the magnet grade in the outrunners compare to the magnet grade you use in the inrunners?

We are shooting for late July/ early Aug now for delivery of a small number of the motors -- the full line should be available by the end of the year.

There are several magnet grades we are using, and the magnet grades change from diameter to diameter on the motors (they are optimized by motor size.)

They are ALL better grade magnets than are used by currently available outrunners on the market. There are those who claim that they have "BETTER" magnets that handle more heat -- don't buy into the BS hype. We've tested their magnets, and they are not as good as the magnets we are using.

ALSO -- we are using better laminations (M19 and M21 grade .2mm lams in most motors), better aluminum, better bearings, better copper (in some motors we are using 240C rated wire -- nobody else in the industry spends the extra $$$ for higher quality wire...) We are not trying to compete with the Chinese motors -- these will be top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art motors. We are sparing no expense to make the best quality motors in the industry.

A TRex 700 motor sounds like a beast for sure!
