It's the one I use, I can't note any flaws or user problems...it's very versatile. It will even fit onto a 1/8 wing mount (using the supplied wrist strap) which is handy for confirming speed in your truggy/buggy...it sits in there beautifully & is protected for all but the most severe crash
Here's a 'size' shot from my Rustler. You'll note the sophisticated rubber band mounting system!!

I did a google search and found out more info about it, I must say it's a fine model most perfect for the application. It is a discontinued model tho ?
I emailed the seller to see if he's willing to do a price break on the S&H charges.
BTW, sick ass Rusty !

Did a little digging, these were the tires I used and was talking about. They'll be good for drifting and thats about it.

Wishing isn't going to help me, our salesman from Horizon hasn't a clue when my Dirt Oval Car will be coming in ?? Could be several more weeks now till I see it. I asked him why in the hell did you tell me it'll ship the 15th ? The answer I got sounded like Blah Blah Blah IDK ? He's is supposedly going to find out today what the scoop is ?
BTW, the Losi Dirt Oval Body fits the 4x4 Slash perfectly and looks bad assed.
I also heard rumors of there being a asphault oval races trying to get started at the local wing place for Tuesday nights ? So I might have a place to run my car on a regular basis in comp ?

Can we get a pic of the fitment on the Slash?
If you are running in regular competition, you'll most likely need a different setup than a drag car, i.e. tires, gearing, maybe motor...

^^Really^^ ?
Yeah I know, I'd have to drop down to a 4s and regear and of course proper sneakers. It's just an idea for now.
They talking about a having a 2wd Slash class with foam tires and Late model bodys hence the trial fitment for giggles. I'd rather not buy another RC so I think I'll pull the front diff from one of my 2-4WD Slashes which is in the pic and run it ? I clicked off several 60mph+ passes with a stock body befor "flight", I bet with this D-O body I could exceed it easily ?
The body is friggin' HUGE

From talking with the coordinaters, The requirements to meet are;
2wd Slash
Foam tires
Dirt oval body
I'm gonna stick with the same set up 1509 2Y and 3s
I'll need to rig up a giant foam bumper to keep from destroying the front of the body.

I finally got pictures of the package ready to be shipped and got a tracking number. Of course the @$$ opted for regular parcel service so it won't be here til the end of next week...
