I am debating what to use as a power system... I will have an aveox 2000kv motor ,1512 size, and a quark 80 after the tekno revo gets converted to a slayer...
Only issue if the quark is an air model, so no brakes. Wonder what it will take to do mech brakes...

I bought it w/o the brake levers installed. The brakes and everything are still on their but Ill have to dig for the lever's which shouldnt be hard to find.

Sounds good, I may make a new radio tray that would place the brake servo next to the steering servo. Or I may pirate the 125b from the emaxx and not use it in the slayer...
I just hope the 5s 3700 polyrc lipo will fit under the body... If not I may have to go 4s, with the hacker c50 maxx. At least I can use that motor now, it has a 5mm shaft upgrade!!!

forget the brakes....using brakes is admitting defeat....I used to be into downhill mountain biking, we would go to ski resorts in the summer time when all the snow had melted...even though you wear lots of padding and a helmet it still hurts like hell when you crash, I did manage to break some bones along the way...and they had a saying they had you want to go as fast as you can and not crash...if you used your brakes you were ridiculed......

Linc what does this make for you 5,6,7 projects going on at once? I have to give you worlds of credit! I'm at 6 vehicles, 1 car 1 ST 2 truggies 1 MT and a heli and I'm trying to sell off a couple as it's to much. I'd rather have a couple that are near bullet proof than 6 that are constantly broke! Sticking with the E-REVO, CRT.5, and mini late-model and selling off the RC18T, VXL Rustler, and Blade CX2 heli.

RC's are like porno for linc, he can never have enough. Mention Tamiya and he gets a funny felling, kind of like climbing the rope in gym class.
After that analogy it makes me think twice before purchasing anything from linc now though!
