Sometimes I think that people who run these and say their motor runs cool live in Alaska or something, my Savage flux (which everyone says runs cool) has been to 165 during a run on the motor running 2 * 2s Lipo and 20t pinion (DX3S temp sensor on can) mind you it was 93 degrees out and that was 13 minutes into a run.

There are more variables than gearing and timing, climate, terrain, tyres, how heavy your throttle finger is, they all play a part.

Say Less, Do More.

fastbaja5b: I'm on the other end of the scale, I cant understand everyone with dying MMMs and hot combo motors, its like everyone is doing something really wrong. I've had 3 MMMv2s running flawlessly since first purchased. I run a savage xl e-conversion with a castle 2200 motor that has never seen more than 55C (aboiut 130F) and thats during an australian summer on the gold coast (so 35C-40C isn't abnormal outside temp). That's running 6s and geared to just beyond 40mph. similar story fora hyper 8 pro on 4s with the 2650 *shrugs*.
