Thanks CHC!

I added another page for BEC wiring and info. It even has diagrams. :) I figure the question gets asked enough to warrant its own page...

Some spanish dudes are asking me to translate it.
Do you think is a good idea?

Thanks all!

I don't see why translating it should be a big deal. Although, the Google web translator would work well in a pinch...

Thanks MM!

If you see something that is incorrect or missing, please let me know. I grabbed what I could from the LMT, BK-Electronics, Castle, and Neu websites, so things might have changed since they published their values.

I try to base it on the type of cells and sytem. I ussually use 3.7 myself.
Not saying it is totally accurate. But then again. It gets you in a close
guesstimate.

Peace!

What I usually do is get a best-case speed and a worst-case speed.

To get the best-case speed, I use 4.2v/cell for the lipo and the maximum ballooning I think would be possible. Also, if I know it, I also use the unloaded motor kv value.

To get the worst-case speed, I use 3.3v/cell for lipo and no ballooning. Again, if known, I use the loaded motor kv value.

Either case will be wrong, but you know your speed has to be somewhere in the middle, probably a little towards the best-case side.

3.7V. It wont be @4.2 since your going WOT when trying to get up to top speed.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL
