Hmmm... I d have to come up with a way to mount that spur. It doesnt look lik itl work with the stock slipper, or the RR one. Any idea of something that may work?

If I can just tuse the stock slipper to mount them up, I for sure want a couple. Do you have a part # on them?

Check your PM

why not run the strobe slipper with a 51 tooth spur. 20 tooth pinion on it as well. 2.55 ratio. be like running a 26 tooth pinion on 66 tooth spur. 9xl on 18 cells with two speed tranny. is pretty quick. Ran 20 51 gearing but had 1/8 diffs.

Peace!

Then Im buying a slipper, spur and pinions just to try it out. If I like the setup I probably will go and do it right, but just for testing it out I am trying to do it on the cheap.

I know this is an old thread, but I finally got this setup out for a few runs the last few weekends. I gotta say, I wish I had done this a long time ago. I ran it 66/26 and in first gear its just about perfect. Id like a little more power, but I think I'm just not gonna get what I want from a 9L.

2nd gear is ridiculous now. :D :dft003: High speed runs are freakin silly. I can't get it all the way up to its top speed before I feel like Im just gonna loose controll and I back off. Its really fast. I find myself laughing out loud and totally entertained.

I think I'm gonna leave it like this for a while anyway. This is my bashing truck and I'm finding this to be a really fun bashing setup.

Yea. I got em. I never did use them though. I was gonna use them if the 66/26 didn't work out. I didnt have any other pinions in the low-mid 20's. So I was gonna try the smaller spur w/ smaller pinions(that I do have) to get the gearing I needed. Turned out that the 66/26 was really good so I didnt need em.
