But when you say "combo" do you mean ESC + motor only?
Or is it the full combination you mean with combo: ESC + motor + conversion?

And of what material is the conversion made, is that plastic or is that black anodized metal?

thx

ESC and motor are available now.

Conversion kits are supposed to ship to us on Christmas day. -- We expect to have the conversion kits in stock before new year.

Thanx!

I know that Richard is working on this... For the air controllers, you power up with full throttle, hold for 5 seconds. I think we are going to do something similar for the Mamba XL, but we need to make sure that the user doesn't accidentally go into programming mode when clearing the log data...

Thanx!

Thanks - How about hold reverse for 5 on plug in?

Full throttle is for me is end point setting... Or you could just make end point setting also clear the log. KISS...

Hey Patrick, I've noticed that the adverts also all feature the same typo. " a first in the RD car market" :-) I think maybe RC car market?

Arggg!!! Loved the video... Right up to the maxamps part.
Blasphemy to put a great company like Castle in with the lowest of the low. It doesn't bring down my opinion of Castle, but some poor uneducated noob is going to buy MA overrated underperforming lipo's just because they were associated like that. Not good for the hobby when a buggy like this could bring in it's own market, only to have those people get burned by MA right out of the gate.

Sorry but these packs do perfectly well in the baja. I stand by my choice of the packs for this car.

I've probably put 10 packs through the car now and I'm still all smiles.

Arct1k, I'll be brief as this is not a "Bash MA" thread, but I do believe that Castle is adding to the hobby, where MA has just the opposite effect. They overcharge For their product and my experience with their customer service was soo poor that it put me off to lipo/brushless RC entirely for a long time. It ws only after I was upset at looking at my electric's sitting on my work bench for months collecting dust that I decided to purchase some reasonably priced lipo's and get back into it. I've since purchased 2 Castle motors, a MMM, and I should be recieving my XL any day now.

Your decision to support MA may be fine for you (assuming you aren't paying shelf price for the MA packs) but it is in my opinion a bad thing to do to the RC hobby as a whole, especially those people who are willing to spend the cash to get into a new hobby without the awareness of bad companies like MA. In the end your benefitting by endorsing a product that rips off the small guy, that makes this hobby a business in the first place.
Please reconsider, I'm sure MA is not the only lipo company who will sell Castle discounted lipo's for testing.
