What advantages am I gonna get out of the gmaxx chassis and what disadvantages? I'm aiming at the alum. The CF is not for bashing, I guess.
Is the workmanship of the G-maxx chassis better than the FLM one?
Is the Gmaxx worth $175 or not? why do you think so?
What does the Gmaxx chassis kit include?
End of questions.:)

the only disadvantage is that with the g-maxx you will lose ground clearance but isnt a big deal unless you do some SERIOUS bashing. if you do i would go with the flm. both are VERY nice and i honestly think that the g-maxx chassis is well worth it as is the flm. the g-maxx includes, the 2 top plates, 2 xbraces, the bottom plate, and hardware.

Will the FLM tranny skid fit in the G-maxx chassis?

no, the g-maxx bottom plate is basically the skid. the skid is to protect the tranny from stuff but the chassis already does that.

Is there a possibility to put the FLM chassis upside down so the battery plates will get lower and increase CG as well? .....hope it doesn't sound stupid.

as papa indirectly said no it wont work but the flm chassis is designed to allow the batteries to be mounted on the under side for a lower cg.

With enough velcro strap's you might be able to do that lol.
Wouldn't look pretty but it would work.
