And i run 5S on my 7XL, that's pretty insane. I do get a nice runtime though.

An 8 or 9XL would be my choice.

I bet! on 5s...18.5 volts! Yeah, real fast! i know my 9xl moves pretty good only geared 16/51! So yours must really move dude!

Voltage doesn't exactly stays 18.5V.. 14.6 is more what it's doing. The reason why i ordered the 5s2p.

Dafni, I have a 9L laying around and while I wait for my Wallet to magically fill up I'd like to run it.

You said you stopped running it because of issues. What were those issues? And did you ever find a suitable gearing for the motor.


If not, I'm not opposed to running brushed for now. What gearing did you use when you ran stock brushed. And did you run 14 cells on an EVX? How were the temps?

The temps are the issues, and if i remember correct a magnet split on the shaft, which is an isolated case. you can run it on 14 cells. It's a hot setup though. A heatsink and fans might be a wise idea.

I'm runing panther boas on hurricane wheels on my G2R and its hooked on everything fron hard packed with dusty top to grass(got a little of everything on this track)

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Glue the 14mm plastic hexes in the rims. That should help some.

Yeah, CA glue them to the rim. use a wheel-shaft to tighten them while the glue is drying.
