Ehh, all you need is an air compressor and possible some Simple Green in a spray bottle. If not, take out electronics, hose down, air dry or air compress. Unless your going through and cleaning everything back to a stock shine, than I have nothing to say.

I like doing the tear down. you always find stuff to tweak, replace, repair. that and the bearing like it better that way then taking the water shot.

Freeze there are models that don't get dirty and need as much attention and detail as these. They don't come with motors or anything but they can bring joy to someone like yourself.
Or maybe you should look into carpet racing, then again the fibers might cause an irritation because they can be seen as something dirty.
A Savage Flux that is never to get truly bashed, that is the only thing I disagree with this build. Otherwise pretty bad ass.

Just a thought on your motor sliding. Take a piece of scotch brite or sandpaper and scuff up the inside of the motor mount. Personally, I'd do the motor too - but I doubt you'd like the looks of it.
Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

You can find the information at HPI's website. Or heck Tower has most of the info too.

The XL has a WB of 390mm. The flux is ~55mm shorter iirc

The back drop of Picture number 1 is beautiful, no mountains in Fl.
I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

Um... you realize of course that Missoula in western Montana is in the same mountain range, the ROCKIES, that cut through western/central Colorado?! That "mountain" is nothing but a shot of the foothills.

I should go bashing at the foot of the Mission Mountain range. Now those are mountains, I drive by em on a weekly basis and a good family friends ashes are spread up there as well
