Those wheels are massive and heavy, I think if you had normal size wheels on it you wouldnt load up the drivetrain nearly as much and it would eliminate most of your problems.

Either that or upgrade to XL diff outdrives and dogbones and axles, could help a bit.

thanks for the reply Electric Eel, i'll definately have my eye out for those problems. It was between 25c and 30c batteries, but if you have had good experiences with the 25c, then i get to save some money

@Sammus: good point about the wheels, hopefully with wabash's and bowties it will take some stress off of the drivetrain

I'd say so. my bro runs a 6s zippy Feigao 12XL in his sav, and with the regular moabs (not the XL's like on this truck) with normal chassis and no heavy alu upgrades he often shears dogbones etc, put normal size wheels on it and the problem goes away.

I switched to Crimefighter MTR's and it helped a bit. The problem then is the massive amount of wheelspin on hard packed dirt. I was using FLM bones which are even thicker than the new XL ones. It just wasn't fun, I wish you better luck.
