What's the story on the 4s ? That's the first trouble I've heard from TrueRC. Can you contact TrueRC? He might could help you out.

I have a 4s2p 8000 from TrueRC that's taken some serious abuse and shows no ill effects.

i got the truerc 4s 5000mah used,they swelled after just 7 mins at the track.ive been using kokam cells,zippy r and cheap fleabay packs with no problems at all.didnt balance the kokam cells for around 8 months but they still do great.but the best performer has been my 2 fleabay 2s 8000mah 12c packs(run in series)they pack a lot of punch and dont even get warm.
