I'll try my luck with a drilled out pinion, like you said, before I go wrecking the motor or spending more "solid" assets on another motor. I just dont want to have it slightly off center and end up damaging the gearbox somehow. I don't know how, ask Murphy- he knows...
Do you have a drill press? I usally use mine with a 5mm diamter blank and line the pinion up in the vise with that blank, then swap it out for the 6mm drill bit. That way the pinion is correctly lined up with the drill centerline.
Hey- good idea about using the 5mm bit to line it up! I actually have one of them somewhere..... It'll be a miracle if I can find it! I'll probably just use a stub axle or something... Of course I need to buy a 6mm drill bit but they aren't expensive.

Stub axle is a good idea, a drill bit can be difficult to line up as it is not solid. I eventually found 6mm bits on ebay, but you have more luck than I did locally...
A drill in only really used in shot bursts.
I can't imagine him doing a 10 minute drill bash :)
That would be interesting... But yeah I'm not going to be polishing my car with it or anything extensive like that. If it does turn out to get too hot, then a fan may be in order.

Really..... I was contemplating whether or not I should email them and ask, so you answered one question for me! How much did he charge for them?
There $14.99 here is a link to there home page: http://www.kershawdesigns.com/ I can't get one directly to the pinions but hopefully you can find them. Just go to 32p pinions.
