thats the plan when a get an extra $40 that i dont need for something else....for now ill keep getting by with the stock towers, as i have a few other importanat things on my list ahead of some shock towers for this. so it might be next week or january i dunno.

Looks ace, I think Mike would sell lots of these if he made them- better size for aftermarket shells and more durable than plastic- plus it looks the mutt's nuts.

It does look slick, that is for sure. I wonder if anyone has investigated the possibility of modding to the stock chassis for lower cg? Maybe adding some fabbed up ends to hold the front/rear bulks and steering? Seems a shame to get rid of the molded chassis, although an al one would be much stronger.

However this would just be a stretched chassis rustler, which flm sells a chassis to do just that,IIRC...

Still prefer your chassis Ross, looks like it has plenty of real estate for equipment.

im on my lunch break right now i have the front uper plate and the steering done, im getting off here right now and gonna go finish the rear piece and itll be done. ill have have plenty more pictures tonight. this thing is over 2inchs longer than a rustler chassis, i know flm make a super ext pede chassis that is 2inch longer but their extended rustler chassis is only 1 inch over i believe or right around that.

and linc in all that free space all im mounting is the rx box the esc and bec will be on the rear brace.

IMO you don't need the extra mud guards, it looks great just sitting their. Props to you my friend .

Looks slick Ross, very nice job. I was looking at my slash and wondered if there was a way to make up some actual fender liners/skirts, like real cars have. That would keep any mud or debris out of the chassis. This would hinder air flow a bit, but I usually open the windows (ha) on my r/cs.

the extra mudguards act as the nerf bars do on the stock chassis for the lower body.

Awsome job in just three days!!

you make it seem like i spent forever on it, actual WORKING time on the project was 3 hours tops thats includes assembly and all cutting, bending, and fileing... pretty good time on it. my hole layouts should have been much better but i made them work. The front and rear assemblies are square and straight with each other so thats the main thing.

btw i think this thing gained a good 8-9 oz i havent weighed it yet though.
