Just a few pics of the RCM RC8T/SC8 conversion.Very clean look and it fit together with ease.Great job Mike.Everything just fell together.I had to shim the steering servo up so it would clear the front chassis brace.I had a RC8T rear chassis brace to put in the rear. The front RTR plastic chassis brace fit but I will be getting the RC8T brace when I can.The battery tray holes were predrilled that was nice.It took about 2 hours to swap the chassis.I had to shim the elevation/Height of the steering servo linkage since the RTR front chassis brace is quite a bit thicker thus raising the servo. No big deal I got a ton of spare parts.I kept the esc on top of the center diff because there is a ton of room in the cage of the SC8.Down on the chassis by the back tire were mud, water, dirt can get inside it just doesnt sound like a good idea. The new Motor Mount is nice also it moves the motor down lower to the chassis.Although ever a Neu motor doesnt resess into the chassis it sits above it.All the body mount holes lined up perfect along with everything elseLots of ice her so no fun today outside.Iam gettin Cabin Fever.I have 2 other motors to try out in it the Neu /Castle and a Tekno Neu 1515/1.5d/f.The new Diff riser is also trick. It lined up perfect also. The servo plate has a additional knotch in it to clear the front driveshaft compared to the RC8 RCM Motor Mount kit. Now this looks and drives like a purpose built 1/8 Brushless Truck

It seems that I didnt have the mudguards in my conversion.I received them today via USPS extreemly urgent mail. That must have cost some coin to send something extreemly urgent. Thanks Mike the guards fit great.I dont think the mudguards were in the conversion parts list. The mudguards from the SC8 fit the Mikes chassis though.
