I need to cut way back on RC spending for '09 but I'm still planning on a couple things.
1. Get better with helicopters and hopefully get my cp+ in the air under control!
2. I want another mini-slider, never should have sold mine last spring. I took second for the season with my mini late-model and want something a little more challenging.
3. Before spring I need new diffs in my E-REVO, 6s was brutal on them. If I can swing the hybrid diffs thats what I really want but if money doesn't allow I'll use some al diff cups and put some new stuff in there.

I started about 6 weeks ago and I have 3! All e-flite blades, first an mcx, cx2, and cp+. The MCX is a tough little guy but I still have managed to break it cause I try some close manuevering with it! The CX2 isn't bad, blades are fragile though, if they hit something they are toast! Haven't done much with the CP+ yet but I can see it getting expensive if I crash from 20-30' off the ground!

A little off-topic here as well, but I've wanted to pick up a cheap small car like a Civic or something, remove all body panels/doors/hood/roof/pass seats/carpet (pretty much any non-essential items), and use it like a dune buggy kind of thing. Then mod it so it looks more like a buggy. Would be MUCH lighter so the 4 banger should have no problems launching it. The only thing holding me back is a place to play - I need a bigger yard...

My winter project is a little different from the team overall goal!, but that OK because I'm a little different!.. Just ask most of the people who know me!. HAHAHhahahahaaa…

I'm winter project is to build the cheapest, coolest, most reliable 3rd world wheel chair. Adult and child’s in existence!.

I hope to have both adults and children’s chair complete by February, and then I'm heading to Unisef and united way to see if they like it and will implement it into needed nations.

My 09 goal is to better humanity! And the only way I now how to do it is to build a better, cheaper, more reliable wheelchair..

Wish me luck!..

Have a great one guys…

TDC57

P.S.
I get the rest of the weekend to add that Moster touch!.. (IE) that means it will look NOTHING like it does now come Monday!. HHAHAHAHAHAAAaa..

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..

Nothing that can compete with TDC, but I'm mostly trying to get all my RCs into good running condition so I can wreck them again in the Spring.

My main project right now is converting a Traxxas Villain to brushless. Not the ideal boat for brushless but I'm experimenting.

Got it for $85 used, it's in reasonable shape but lots of rust. I'm waiting on pinion gears from Kershaw Designs (Mike doesn't carry them big enough) and then some assembly and it will be driveable. I'm thinking it'll need a new water pickup, perhaps even a 2nd one, and it will definitely need turn fins and I'm trying to find water jackets that'll fit those tiny motors.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
