I'm fairly sure he said to use the 2200 for heavier RCs like Truggies and MTs (IMO the 2650 would be OK in an E-Maxx/E-Revo though) and to use the 2650 in something lighter such as Buggies. If you put a big motor in a Buggy, you have more weight because of the motor, will need batteries that can handle the larger motor (adding more weight) and will have to be more careful on the throttle or else you'll waste power through wheelies or unloading the front wheels.
