6 Pole operation on the MMM - Long term effects?

I don't know if this fits in the conversation, but, can you use the MMM with the MM motors, like say the 7700kv or the 6900kv. If so will it hurt anything? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is the wrong spot for the question.

The cc36 motors will work perfectly fine with the MMM, better infact as the MMM has higher current and voltage handling specs. Just dont be tempted to run a ~7000kv motor on 6s lipo, stick to the guidelines printed on the rear endbells of the motors.

Oh, no. I only wanted to run a 2s with the 6900 or 7700, but I just didn't know if these esc's were designed for the higher kv motors. Thanks for the fast reply btw.

Thanks for the clarification Patrick! I guess I can now point the skeptics to this thread when they start commenting on how my Mega will eventually fry my MMM.
