Well theres hope then :D

I do have a new 9920 that I was going to use on the Revo, with a 9XL.
maybe the better option is to put the Shultze in the Revo & the BK in the Maxx??

As it still works ok at the moment, would there be any point in putting another heat sink on the other side??

It looks like something burned slightly on that controller. If there is any chance of a warranty repair, it will be before the whole thing is unrecognizable for sure. If it is burned beyond recognition, it will for sure be blamed on "loose contacts" or something similar.

Maybe I'm being silly. But I doubt the plastic case you've got it in allows much cooling. Perhaps taking it out the case might help controller temps. Other than that just get a 9920 would be my reccomendation.

Not as silly as I would have been........if I had:p
the UBEC and RX live in the box. Were you living Maxxdude??

Having read the MANY post on shultze customer service, being similar to that of a second hand car salesman, I can't see me geting round to sending to them.

I think I'll just go easy on it and watch it carefully.
It has done about 18 months in my Maxx now so its not that bad.

Just directly contac Matthias of schulze. He replies the email very fast, even on sunday, i got to give him that.

He is willing to help (on a distance) he will probably suggest to sent him the entire setup, so he can find a reason other than his speedo for this partial meltdown..

It wouldn't hurt sending it back though. just solder a few fresh beefy plugs on, just in case..
